This bedroom space was previously lacking a personality. Our client had mentioned to us that it was un-inspiring and at the end of a long busy day, it was the last place she wanted to be.

 

As a hardworking doctor, our client needed a space to rejuvenate and relax in at the end of the day.

She had asked The Modern Hive to design a space that her husband could also appreciate, but still had touches of softness. 

​

Upon entering the room, there was a somewhat awkward and unused 'front room.' This room had no previous use, except as a 'passage way' to enter into the master bedroom. 

​

Putting our creative minds to work, we decided along with the client that the best use for this space would be a 'lounge for her' - a place where we could go a little more feminine and bold before entering the bedroom. She would use this room to read and relax in before retiring to bed.

​

Rich colors of dark blue and magenta pops are incorporated throughout the bedroom to tie in the pink tones first seen in front room lounge.
