Our client desired a soft, serene and chic home. Previously stuck in the early 2000's, the home had a great existing layout but the home was tired and felt dark and dated.

 

Our goal was to create a stylish, yet classic aesthetic. We utilized marble and marble like materials throughout paired with brushed golds, soft grey, jewel tone blues and purples and overall lighter finishes to brighten and open up the home.

The living room was large and expansive, being almost too large. The old layout made the room feel even more massive because the scale of furnishings and symmetry was off. We worked through this by updating the fireplace making it a feature in the room, and specified a large scale sofa to balance out the room. We then centered the furniture in the room on the fireplace.
