Our client came to us with a rough architectural plan in hand and hired us to draft out all the fine details and assist with material selections of their new build home.

 

Our goal was to design a new-traditional and modern tudor style home. We had the opportunity to incorporate several gorgeous features that the client desired, such as an open concept staircase, an expansive in height living room that features natural light from all angles, an open concept kitchen, and a unique master suite.

 

We utilized many organic materials and textures throughout such as solid white oak wood floors, marble and marble-like surfaces and tiles, a mixture of black and gold finishes, all while balancing nearly-white walls throughout the home.

One of the biggest challenges of the home was working through the variety of interesting details that were already on the architectural plans but needed fine tuning without disrupting what had already been planned out structurally.

 

Because of the vast size of the home, and our very hands on approach of re-drafting out the entire home into a 3D application to further identify unique design opportunities, the project from start to finish required a lot of close details and took nearly 2.5 years to complete.
