A TURN-KEY APPROACH TO TRANSFORMING YOUR SPACE

WHO IS THIS SERVICE FOR?

If you are ready to take a room and transform it through furnishings + all the layers that make a space, and you want us to do all the work, this option is for you!

 

Completely transform your space! All you have to do is provide us with a little information, and sit back and relax while we do the rest.

 

With this full service interior furnishing option, we will handle all the procurement of approved furnishings, window treatments, shopping for accessories, implementation of our design plan and set up/installation of furnishings and accessories.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

ONBOARDING:
CONSULTATION

Kick off the project with an in home consultation where we go over the following:

  • In depth style questionnaire

  • Discuss your needs

  • Measurements of the space​

PHASE I:
DESIGN CONCEPT

After we have gathered all the necessary information for your project, we get busy designing a customized plan for your space Including:

  • Furniture floor plan for space

  • Color scheme

  • 3D Renderings of concept

  • Curated selection of  furnishings and selections

  • Budget of selections and furnishings made

PHASE II:
PRESENTATION

We will present the design plan and budget to you in person and you will be provided with a virtual video where we go over all the design details in the PDF.  

  • PDF document outlining the design concept and plan

  • Itemized budget for you to approve

PHASE III:
PROCURE + INSTALL

Upon approval of design and payment of goods approved for purchase, we submit all orders and track them as they ship.

We ship all goods to our receiving warehouse for safe keeping. The warehouse will receive, inspect, and store all items until install day. 

INVESTMENT

MINIMUM EXPENDITURE PER ROOM:

In order for us to provide our clients with a quality design that we can stand behind, we set a minimum expenditure with our Full Service Room Transformation.

 

The minimum amount we require our client to invest in a single space starts at a "mid range" tier according to our budget guidelines (linked below). This number does not include the investment made in design fees.

 

Some exceptions can be made but need to be discussed in advance. In most cases, the minimum investment required will accommodate minor trade labor changes such as: room painting or wallpapering, carpet / floor replacements, custom millwork/furnishings, tile features, electrical fixture installations, shipping fees, white glove delivery fees, etc.

PHASE I- THE CONCEPT:

PRICED PER SPACE:

Each room will have an associated design fee per room designed. We have a three room minimum.

PHASE II- PROCUREMENT + IMPLEMENTATION:

PER HOUR

Phase II involves the purchasing, procurement + management of goods purchased and shipped to our warehouse. This phase also involves any 'prep' work, such as room painting, floor installations, etc. to prepare the room for install day.

PHASE III - INSTALL DAY

PER HOUR + INSTALL CREW FEE

Phase III involves a full day of product + furnishing installation and placement by The Modern Hive and installation crew.

FAQs:

How long will the whole process take?

- Once your project has been scheduled on our calendar, we have completed the consultation and any client homework has been provided, the conceptual design will take a minimum of 30 days to complete, depending upon the scope.

- Upon approval of the concept and budget, and payment for goods to be purchased is received, we will submit all orders within 14 days.

- Logistics for product lead times and shipping lead times vary greatly. Due to supply chain issues, projects are trending to be completed approximately 6-7 months from the time ordering ordering takes place.

- In the intermediate, we may schedule any light installs, such as painting or wallpapering so that the room is fully prepped for an install day.

- Once all your goods are in, we will schedule an install day within 15 days. 

What if I don't like something in the design?

- No problem, sometimes that happens! With this service, you have three complimentary reselects. Anything beyond three reselects will be billed at our hourly rate.
